Now Hiring: Lead Toddler Teacher!

Our program is currently looking to hire an experienced Lead Teacher to join our young toddler classroom team to work along side a tenured Co-Lead. Lead Teachers are responsible for the daily operations of their classroom in terms of logistics, caregiving, and curriculum; they work alongside Co-Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Support Staff. We are seeking teachers who value children’s perspectives, approach interactions with positivity, and are experienced in the process of observation, reflection, and documentation. People who are drawn to collaboration, curiosity & intentionality, and who enjoy forming meaningful relationships with the children and families in their care typically thrive in our community. Teachers in this position also get the opportunity to mentor Assistant Teachers and Support Staff, making this a great fit for those who are looking to develop their leadership skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

  • 2 or more years experience as a Lead Teacher working with Toddlers

  • Experience engaging with emergent curriculum and the process of observation, reflection, and pedagogical documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

  • Substitute Teachers

    $25.00/hour

    We are looking for a few substitute teachers to join our staff. These positions are part-time (less than 30 hours/week). We have flexibility with schedules so please indicate availability you have when you apply. We will provide onsite training and coaching as we onboard staff.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older, and have a high school diploma or equivalent

    • Must have state required trainings and certifications including First Aid, CPR, Background Check, Blood Borne Pathogens and Childcare Basics or be able to complete these requirements within 30 days of hire

    • Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds, and be physically capable of attending to children’s needs

    • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination before visiting the facility
