Parent & Family Education

PRLC Preschool offers multiple opportunities for parents and families to spend time learning and reflecting together.

Throughout the year we offer workshops and classes geared towards relevant topics such as potty training, handling strong emotions, and kindergarten readiness. For resources from past workshops, take a look at our blog here!

Our school also partners with North Seattle College and their Parent Educator Program; Lea Evans is our school’s assigned Parent Educator and offers one-on-one meetings where families can get individualized support on the things that are most important to them.

You can contact Lea via email through this link!

Room Parents

Each class has two room parents who are in charge of organizing and coordinating events throughout the year including staff holiday gifts, volunteer opportunities, and the events of Teacher Appreciation Week.

Our room parent coordinator for the year is Sonya Heltshe, who can be reached at cdcroomparent@gmail.com.
