What are PRLC Preschool’s youngest and oldest classrooms?

Our youngest classroom is the Purple Room - children need to be at least 1 year old to enroll. Our oldest room is the Yellow Room, which is a Pre-K room in which children start at 4 years of age.

When do children change classrooms?

Children start in a new classroom in the beginning of September and stay in that room until the end of the following Summer.

Is PRLC open year-round?

Yes, except for the last week in August when we close the school for staff in-service and for several days between Christmas Eve and New Years day. Exact closure dates are available in our Family Handbook at the beginning of each school year.

How can I get on the waitlist?

First, contact us with your child’s name and birthdate, as well as your name, contact information, and preferred schedule. Our Preschool Director maintains our waitlist and will reach out to offer a tour when a spot becomes available.

When will I find out if my child has a spot at your school?

Generally, classroom rosters are set in the Spring. You should know by April if your child has a spot for the upcoming school year.

Does PRLC Preschool participate in Early Achievers?

Yes, PRLC Preschool is a Level 3 Early Achievers school.

Do you accept subsidy, or are scholarships available?

Yes! We accept subsidies from the following sources:

  • State of Washington (Working Connections)

  • City of Seattle (CCAP)

  • Federal Childcare Subsidies for Active-Duty Military & Veterans

If additional subsidy programs become available, we will accept those as well. We also have a scholarship program to support families through hardships and transitions.
